Refugees Allying with Youth Lece, Italy
Our team took part in an Youth Exchange called “Refugees Allying with Youth” in Lecce, Italy from 26th October to 4th November. During the project we participated in several activities like: discussions of discrimination and human rights; participation in meetings with members of Italian associations working for LGBTQ, Amnes international and NGO's working with asylum seekers and refugees. Forum theater and workshop for creation of supporting materials and posters were implemented. As a result of the project hand painted posters were created. We are grateful to the organizers from SEYF - South Europe Youth Forum and personally Sandro Accogli and Marija Borg Mifsud and to our hosts from Urban Hostel.
National Meeting of youth organizations Varna, Bulgaria
Our team took part in the National meeting of youth organizations which was held in Varna in the period 22 nd – 24 th June 2018. Several workshops were held as well as discussions about the current issues facing the youth organizations in Bulgaria.
TC “I lend you my shoes” Yuncos, Spain
Our team participated in a training course called “I lend you my shoes” which took part in
Yuncos, Spain from 21-27th May 2018. The training course involved ProCC methodology
and theater practices which were used to help understand and get a different approach to
gender, puberty and the roles of men and women in society. Also different group techniques
and the role of the group coordinator were explained. There were participants from Spain,
Portugal, Macedonia, Romania and Armenia.
YE “Natural Peace” Boldogkőváralja, Hungary
We are happy to share news about another successfully completed project our team took part
in. The project is called “Natural Peace” and took part in Boldogkőváralja, Hungary, 27 April
– 7 May 2018 г. Our participants took part in mostly outdoor activities also different games,
Forum theatre and discussions through which the concepts of tolerance, acceptance and
awareness were clarified and so on. We contributed to the project by providing the workshop
on Forum theatre. Other participants were from Greece, Macedonia, Turkey, Romania and
Hungary.
TC "Rights Now" Novoli, Italy
Our team took part in a project called "Rights Now" in Novoli, Italy, 22-28 April 2018.
During the project we participated in several activities like: discussions of stereotypes and
human rights; participation in meetings with members of Italian associations working for
LGBT+ rights; Forum theater and workshop for creation of new tools and so on. As a result of the project a manual will be created.
Bike tour “Together” Varna, Bulgaria
Collaborated with the Bulgarian Hemophilia Association for caring out a raising awareness campaign – biking tour “Together” for the international day of people with hemophilia in Varna (February-April 2018). We were part of the team responsible for the information campaign before the event.
Forum Theatre Varna, Bulgaria
Our representatives developed a Forum theatre project with a team of volunteers, tackling social problems in the local community in 2017.
Networking event Fair Fair Ilmenau Germany
Our team members took part in a networking event held in Ilmenau, Germany and presented the organization, its mission and goals, its past and future projects, active members and held a Q&A session at the Fair Fair, which was part of the activities of International Student Week in Ilmenau (ISWI) 2017, taking part in 12-21 May 2017.
Assistance for caring out donation campaigns Varna, Bulgaria
Collaborating on regular basis with different local non-government organizations for gathering and donating clothes, food, school items and other things to people in bad financial situation in Varna region.
Donation of shoes Varna, Bulgaria
Collaborated with „Nadezhda 2001-98” foundation for the last part of their project - delivering shoes donated by shoe stores for children placed in government care across Bulgaria by arranging the delivery of shoes for the Institution for Social Services for Children and Young People in Varna, Bulgaria (August-September 2016).
Photoshop training course Varna, Bulgaria
Organized and carried out a free Photoshop training for about 20 people in collaboration with
the Able Mentor Association and the University of Economics –Varna (March-May 2016).
Raising awareness FB campaign
Social media raising awareness campaign against hate and supporting tolerance which called on people to preach peace by taking a picture while holding a cardboard which read: “I am you #peace & their country” and sharing it on our Facebook page (01.08.2015-2016).
